Description

Duties of the Data Scientist:

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to solve business challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Present findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
• Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Validate and optimise data models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data science techniques.
• Work as part of a collaborative analytics team to meet business objectives.

Profile

A successful Data Scientist should have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis, modelling, and visualisation tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R or SQL.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly.
• Experience producing clear reports and analysis for all stakeholders
• Knowlege of GIS tools
• Understanding of statistical techniques and machine learning methods.
