Looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer role with no nights, a strong basic salary and overtime available?
Aqumen Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a busy heavy manufacturing facility in Leeds LS10.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer who enjoys hands-on fault finding, planned maintenance and keeping production machinery running reliably. You'll work across a varied range of plant and equipment, carrying out both PPM and reactive electrical maintenance, while also having the opportunity to get involved in site improvements and projects.

Working hours:
- Monday–Thursday: 07:00–16:00
- Friday: 06:30–15:00
- Day shift – no nights
- 25 days' holiday + bank holidays

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll play an important part in maintaining the reliability and performance of the site's plant and machinery.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, diagnosing machine faults, and installing and repairing plant and equipment. You'll also identify opportunities to improve reliability and work alongside other departments on engineering projects, with safety at the forefront of everything you do.
This is a genuinely hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician position where you'll be dealing with equipment including 3-phase systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, PLCs and inverters.
What We're Looking ForWe're keen to hear from experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance Electricians, Electrical Engineers or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers with a strong electrical bias.
You'll need solid electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills, including experience with 3-phase systems, together with a minimum 18th Edition electrical qualification. Experience gained within manufacturing, heavy industry, production or plant maintenance would be particularly relevant.
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous: motors and gearboxes, conveyors, PLC fault finding, inverters, hydraulics and pneumatics. Mechanical skills such as fabrication, welding, machine-shop work and general plant repairs would also be beneficial, although the key requirement is strong electrical competence.
