About the Opportunity

An excellent opportunity for an Administrator with relevant property, building safety, compliance or remediation experience to further develop their career within building safety, compliance and remediation as part of an established residential property management business in Leeds.

You'll support a specialist building safety team across Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs), building safety compliance and remediation projects, helping to maintain accurate records, coordinate activity and ensure important actions and deadlines are effectively managed.

Your administrative experience could have been gained within block or estate management, social housing, building safety/compliance, residential development or a consultancy or contractor involved in building safety remediation projects.

With a clear progression path and opportunity for promotion, this is particularly suited to someone who already has some relevant experience and is ready to build on it, broaden their building safety knowledge and take the next step in their career.

What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative support across building safety, compliance and remediation activity
  • Support the administration of Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs) and associated building safety requirements
  • Maintain accurate property, compliance, building safety and resident records
  • Help maintain the Golden Thread of Information, ensuring records and documentation remain accurate and up to date
  • Support the preparation and updating of Safety Case Reports, Resident Engagement Strategies and associated documentation
  • Maintain compliance trackers, action logs, inspection schedules and document control systems
  • Coordinate inspections, surveys, audits, contractor visits and other compliance activity
  • Track actions arising from Fire Risk Assessments, Health & Safety Assessments, structural inspections and other risk assessments
  • Support contractor and consultant administration, following up actions and required documentation
  • Assist with regulatory submissions, audits, inspections and reporting
  • Provide administrative support for fire safety, structural safety and other building remediation projects
  • Maintain remediation project documentation, actions, milestones, deadlines and progress information
  • Assist with funding applications and the administration of relevant remediation programmes
  • Support resident communications and engagement relating to building safety and remediation works
  • Liaise with property managers, residents, clients, contractors, consultants and other professional advisers


What You'll Bring

  • Administrative experience gained within block or estate management, social housing, building safety/compliance, residential development or a remediation consultancy or contractor, with exposure to building safety, compliance or remediation projects particularly advantageous
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence managing detailed records, documentation, trackers, actions and deadlines
  • Good IT skills and confidence using property, compliance or document management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The confidence to liaise professionally with residents, property managers, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders
  • A proactive approach and willingness to follow actions through to completion
  • A genuine interest in building safety and compliance, with the ambition to develop your regulatory knowledge and progress.
