Debt Recovery & Litigation Executive

Location: Leeds office based

Salary: Basic £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
Bonus: Quarterly performance bonus plus large debt recovery incentives


Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking an ambitious Debt Recovery & Litigation Executive to manage a substantial portfolio of commercial recovery matters and support the firm's strategic growth plans.

The Role

You will manage a busy caseload of commercial debt recovery and litigation matters from initial instruction through to enforcement and resolution.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of commercial debt recovery files

• Drafting pre-action correspondence and legal documentation

• Negotiating settlements and payment arrangements

• Conducting litigation and enforcement action

• Liaising with clients, debtors and third-party representatives

• Achieving agreed cash collection and billing targets

• Supporting business development initiatives

• Maintaining excellent client service standards

Experience Required

• Debt recovery experience preferred

• Litigation experience advantageous

• Understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules

• Strong negotiation skills

• Excellent client communication skills

• Commercial awareness

• Ability to work independently and manage a large caseload
