**Area Sales Manager – Electrical Manufacture**

I’m working with a growing manufacture within the electrical industry that’s looking to add an experienced Area Sales Manager to the team. This is a great opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of its growth, where you’ll have plenty of freedom to build relationships, win new business and really make your mark.

The Role

This is a proper field-based sales role – you'll be out meeting customers, developing existing accounts and looking for new opportunities across your territory.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Growing sales and developing your territory
• Winning new B2B customers and building long-term relationships
• Managing and growing existing accounts
• Getting out in front of customers and understanding their requirements
• Working across the commercial lighting and electrical wholesale market
• Negotiating deals and managing the sales process from start to finish
• Keeping an eye on competitors and new opportunities
• Working closely with the internal sales and marketing teams
• Managing your own diary, pipeline and sales activity

What They're Looking For

You don't need to tick every box, but you'll ideally have:

• 2+ years B2B sales experience
• Electrical wholesale experience
• A proven track record of winning and developing business
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• A self-motivated, driven approach
• A full UK driving licence

£40k basic (negotiable for the right candidate)
