We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Prestige Main Dealer in Leeds, for the position of Vehicle Technician. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Repair and service a wide range of vehicles to high standards
• Conduct diagnostic checks and identify faults accurately
• Liaise with service advisors, customers, and management to ensure a seamless service experience
• Inspect vehicles for wear and tear, and carry out necessary work in line with DVSA standards
• Assist in mentoring apprentice technicians
• Complete all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repairs as required
• Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and quality service

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Relevant NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification in Automotive or equivalent
• Own set of tools
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT license is desirable but not essential
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy dealership environment
• Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
