Administrator
Leeds (LS11) | Temporary Contract (3 months rolling contract) | £25,000 - £26,000 FTE
I am recruiting on behalf of a leading infrastructure and engineering organisation for an Administrator to join their busy operational team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Administrator looking to gain experience within a fast-paced environment that supports essential public infrastructure projects.

The Role
As an Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day depot operations. You will work closely with engineers, operatives and management teams, ensuring records, schedules and documentation are maintained accurately and efficiently.
This position offers a varied workload where no two days are the same and where your contribution will have a direct impact on operational performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and operational documentation
- Processing employee timesheets and supporting payroll administration
- Creating and preparing job packs for field-based engineers and operatives
- Logging faults, queries and service requests onto specialist systems
- Coordinating meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
- Preparing reports, documents and presentations for internal teams
- Supporting general office administration, filing and document management
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining stock levels
- Working with colleagues to improve processes and administrative efficiency
- Providing wider administrative support across multiple departments
What You'll Need
To be successful as an Administrator, you will have:
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within an engineering, construction, utilities, contracting or electrical environment would be advantageous
- Experience supporting operational or field-based teams would be beneficial

- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm
