Field Service Engineer / Installation Engineer

£35,000 - £45,000 + Company Van + Private Medical + Full Training + Progression + Fuel Card

Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer from an Automotive, Ex-Forces, Garage Equipment or similar background looking for a role where you will be fully trained on specialist equipment and developed long-term, with a clear route into senior positions as the team grows?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established engineering business where you will receive structured internal training and step into a varied field role installing, calibrating and servicing technical equipment across your region, with support from experienced engineers and always working in pairs.

The company are a specialist designer, manufacturer and service provider supplying workshops, MOT centres, inspection facilities and public transport operators, as well as supporting MOD sites worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add an engineer who wants to learn, develop and build a long-term career with the business.

In this role you will travel to customer sites to carry out installation, commissioning support, servicing, calibration, fault finding and repairs on specialist systems within the automotive industry.

This role would suit an electrical / mechanical engineer with 3-phase experience, looking for full product training, varied field work and genuine long-term development with progression into senior or team lead positions.

The Role:

• Installation, service, calibration and fault finding at customer sites
• Field-based role covering Leeds / Derbyshire region with wider UK travel as required
• 40 hours per week (8am-5pm) with occasional weekend overtime

The Person:

• Electrical / Mechanical engineering background with 3-phase experience (essential)
• Previous service / installation / calibration / commissioning experience, or strong transferable field skills
• Full UK driving licence
