Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager to join a PE-backed business in Leeds that has just made it's first major acquisition.

This acquisition which is due to complete imminently in Leeds, will create an immediate requirement for a hands-on finance professional who can establish robust financial processes, integrate systems and provide high-quality financial reporting from day one.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of the finance function and be responsible for implementing new financial controls and set of management accounts.

Other duties will include:

• Implementing Xero and ensuring finance systems are fit for purpose
• Producing monthly management accounts from scratch
• Establishing financial controls and governance processes
• Improving the quality and timeliness of management information
• Providing accurate financial insight to support decision-making

The Ideal Candidate

• Immediately available and able to start at short notice
• Experienced Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Interim Finance Lead
• Strong knowledge of Xero implementation and process improvement beneficial
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Salary & Benefits

• £350-£4000 per day (Outside IR35)
• Immediate start available
