About Communicate

Communicate is a fast-growing, PE-backed Managed Services Provider, supporting organisations across the UK to simplify complex IT environments and operate securely at scale.

Built on over 15 years of experience, we bring together secure connectivity, cloud and cyber security into one integrated service — removing complexity, taking responsibility, and keeping our customers connected and protected.

As a Fortinet Expert Partner, Microsoft Tier 1 CSP and CrowdStrike ELP, we work with leading technologies to deliver resilient, high-performance services for multi-site and multi-tenant organisations, giving our customers the confidence that performance, security and outcomes are fully owned, end-to-end.

The Role

We are looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of strategic white-space customers, based at our Leeds site.

This is a high-impact account growth role at the centre of our customer strategy. You will be responsible for expanding customer value, driving adoption of next-generation managed services, and strengthening long-term partnerships.

You will operate as a trusted advisor, aligning technology to business outcomes, identifying opportunities, and delivering consistent commercial growth across your accounts.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and develop a portfolio of strategic customer relationships
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, service reviews and account planning
  • Develop and execute Account Development Plans (ADPs) to drive long-term revenue growth across managed and professional services
  • Drive adoption of broader solutions across cyber security, cloud and connectivity (e.g. XDR, SIEM, SD-WAN, Azure, Microsoft 365)
  • Manage renewals, contract negotiations and full commercial lifecycle
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales, SOC/NOC and Delivery teams to shape and close opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ account management experience within MSP, cybersecurity or IT services
  • Strong commercial track record in managing and expanding mid-to-large customer accounts
  • Consultative, outcome-led approach to selling and account development
  • Good understanding of modern IT environments, including cloud, networking and security (e.g. SD-WAN, MDR/XDR, SIEM, backup, infrastructure services)
  • Credibility at senior stakeholder level, with strong relationship and influencing skills
  • Commercially astute, confident managing renewals, pricing and multi-year agreements
  • Target-driven, with a consistent track record of delivering against revenue objectives
  • Highly organised and comfortable operating in a fast-growth environment

Why Join Communicate

  • Uncapped earning potential with a clear, performance-driven commission structure
  • High-impact role in a PE-backed business with ambitious growth plans
  • Clear progression pathways as the organisation scales
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service
  • Private medical, life assurance and pension
  • A high-performance, collaborative culture with strong technical capability
