A specialist environmental consultancy that are highly regarded across the UK water industry, upholding high regulatory, environmental, and ethical standards, are searching for an experienced Hydraulic Modeller to join their developing team of experts.

As a Hydraulic Modeller, you will be providing a leading independent hydraulic model audit service to clients, ensuring the most successful solution is developed. A Hydraulic Modeller will need to adapt to requirements, identify risks and limitations and recommend improvements. Working alongside a highly experienced team, you will be an essential tool in the development of solutions and excellent results for water companies, local authorities, and developers.

Requirements to fit the Hydraulic Modeller role:

• A degree within Civil Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in hydraulic modelling, wastewater modelling or flooding
• Familiar with hydraulic modelling software such as InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS Pro or HEC-RAS
• Understanding of hydraulic principles, sewerage systems, drainage networks, and water infrastructure
• Ability to prepare technical reports and communicate modelling findings clearly
• Competent in Microsoft Excel and, ideally, GIS and other relevant data analysis tools.
• The full right to work in the UK
• A full UK driving license
• Live within a commutable distance to Leeds
