Corporate Senior Associate | Leeds | 5+ years’ PQE

I’m recruiting for a Senior Associate to join a leading Leeds corporate team that has been the most active deal maker for the last 5 years.

The role

• Manage your own caseload and client relationships, with support as needed, while working closely with senior lawyers on high-value matters.
• Lead on smaller deals.
• Work with a wide-ranging client base, including private companies and PLCs, in the UK and internationally. The team has worked in 25 jurisdictions in the past 12 months alone.
• Have the time to build long-term client relationships, and the chance to contribute to business development.
• Work closely with other teams across the firm to share opportunities, knowledge and best practice.

What they’re looking for

• A minimum of 5 years’ PQE.
• A technical specialist with experience across a wide range of corporate matters, including M&A, private equity investments, buyouts, joint ventures, re-organisations and corporate governance.
• Experience supporting the technical development of junior team members.
• Ideally, some networking and business development activity.
• Someone motivated, commercially minded and calm under pressure, who works well both autonomously and as part of a team.
