Pricing Analyst - #2165512

Hays are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation based in Leeds to recruit a commercially focused Pricing Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional to join a high-performing team, supporting strategic pricing decisions that drive business performance and profitability.

Working closely with key stakeholders across finance, sales and commercial teams, you will play a pivotal role in analysing pricing structures, market trends and customer data to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse pricing data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies.
• Produce regular pricing, margin and profitability reports.
• Monitor competitor activity and market conditions.
• Develop financial models to assess pricing scenarios and commercial outcomes.
• Work closely with sales and commercial teams to ensure pricing consistency and maximise revenue opportunities.
• Provide insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities.
• Maintain pricing databases and ensure data accuracy.

About You:

• Previous experience in a Pricing Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Revenue Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and data analysis.
• Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
