This is a hands-on, third-line infrastructure engineering role with approximately 70% project work and 30% BAU support. You'll contribute to infrastructure projects, help design and deliver technical solutions, and provide expert support across server, storage and virtualisation technologies.

- Design, implement and support business-critical Windows and Linux server infrastructure.
- Administer and maintain Hyper-V virtualisation, server and storage environments.
- Provide third-line support, troubleshooting complex infrastructure incidents and problems.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects, from early technical planning and design through to implementation.
- Support enterprise infrastructure management tools, including SCCM and SCOM.
- Maintain infrastructure security, patching, resilience and operational standards.
- Support Kubernetes environments through administration and maintenance activities.
- Contribute to AWS infrastructure services and hybrid cloud initiatives.
- Work with wider technology teams to improve infrastructure performance, reliability and security.
- Travel occasionally to data centres in Leeds and Manchester, potentially around once every two months.

- Strong experience in third-line infrastructure, server or storage engineering within a large enterprise environment.
- Hands-on Windows Server and Linux administration experience.
- Practical experience with Hyper-V virtualisation.
- Experience using SCCM and SCOM within an enterprise infrastructure environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across complex server and infrastructure estates.
- A solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure operations, security and resilience.
- A full UK driving licence and ability to travel to data centres when required.
Experience with Kubernetes administration, DNS, F5 traffic management and load balancing, and AWS cloud services would be advantageous.
What's in it for me?
- Excellent salary with annual pay reviews.
- Hybrid working, with two days per week onsite in Leeds.
- 26 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
- A mix of project delivery and third-line technical work.
- The opportunity to develop your infrastructure skills across a large enterprise hybrid environment.
