- Handle incoming calls and tickets, providing first- and second-line support to users.
- Resolve issues spanning Windows desktops and backend infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot networking problems across the site.

- onsite 5 days a week
Hardware and production equipment
- Rebuild PCs and maintain hardware.
- Support production-related equipment in the manufacturing facility, such as label printers.
- Support the business's specialist printing-industry software.

- Help reduce single-point-of-failure risk in the support function.
- Develop towards taking over the IT Manager role in the longer term.
Skills and Experience
- Proven first- and second-line IT support experience across Windows desktops and backend infrastructure.
- Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience working with a ticketing system
- Networking troubleshooting, PC rebuilds and hardware maintenance.
- Exposure to Hyper-V and VMware.
- Exposure to Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus (hands-on implementation experience is not required).
- Experience with Microsoft Entra and Intune.
Personal Attributes
- Hands-on and practical, comfortable getting stuck in rather than only directing others.
- Good communicator who can support users of all technical abilities, from the shop floor to the office.
- Reliable and committed, with the long-term ambition to grow into a management role.
- Willing to learn niche, business-specific software over several months.
What's on Offer
- Salary of up to £40,000
- Discretionary year-end bonus, based on business profitability and leadership's decision.
- A clear succession path to IT Manager.
- Birthday day off, year-end raffle, and Christmas Eve possibly off (as it was last year).
- Varied work across user support, infrastructure, hardware and production IT.
