Trainee Team Leader - #2167865
Leeds Events
Leeds | Full-Time Availability | No Management Experience Required
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Leeds Events is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this opportunity, either now or in the future.
Think you've got what it takes to lead a team? Everyone has to start somewhere.
At Leeds Events, we're looking for confident, motivated people who enjoy working with others and fancy developing their leadership skills while gaining practical experience in sales, events and customer engagement.
We're not looking for experienced managers or people with impressive job titles. We're looking for individuals with a bit of initiative, a good attitude and the willingness to get stuck in.
You'll start by learning how our face-to-face campaigns work, meeting customers at shopping centres, promotional events and other busy locations across Leeds.
As you gain experience, you'll have opportunities to develop the skills needed to support others and take on more responsibility.
What you'll be getting involved in
- Engaging with customers at events and promotional locations
- Learning how successful sales and marketing campaigns operate
- Developing communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Working alongside experienced people and learning from their approach
- Building confidence in supporting and motivating others
- Gaining exposure to campaign coordination and team leadership
Who we're looking for
Leadership isn't always about experience. Sometimes it's about attitude.
You might have a background in retail, hospitality, customer service or sport. Perhaps you've recently finished university or simply want an opportunity to challenge yourself.
You'll probably fit in well if you:
- Enjoy meeting people and working with others
- Have a positive attitude and aren't afraid of responsibility
- Communicate well and know how to listen
- Take initiative rather than waiting to be told
- Enjoy learning and improving
- Have an interest in developing leadership skills
Why Leeds Events?
We believe good leaders learn by doing, not just by reading about it.
You'll have access to practical guidance, experienced people to learn from and opportunities to develop your skills in a busy, customer-facing environment.
For those who demonstrate the right attitude and ability, there's scope to become involved in supporting newer team members, helping coordinate campaigns and taking on greater responsibility.
No promises of becoming a manager overnight. Just a genuine opportunity to learn and see how far you can go.
Fancy giving it a go?
If you're someone who enjoys working with people, likes a challenge and thinks you could develop into a good leader, we'd like to hear from you.
Apply today and tell us a little about yourself.
