Overview:

Our client is an established digital agency delivering complex digital platforms, websites and technology-driven solutions for a range of clients. They are now looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to lead some of their largest and most complex projects.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from discovery and definition through to launch and handover, working closely with technical teams, clients and third-party partners. Projects include complex platform builds, eCommerce and payment journeys, system integrations and content-heavy website rebuilds.

The position would suit an experienced Digital Project Manager who is confident managing multiple workstreams, building strong client relationships and taking responsibility for project delivery, governance and commercials within an agency environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects, from initial discovery and planning through to launch and handover.
• Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal teams and third-party stakeholders.
• Work closely with technical leads to manage integrations, platform requirements and technical dependencies.
• Oversee project governance, reporting, change control and stakeholder communications.
• Manage project commercials, including estimates, forecasting, budget tracking, invoicing and profitability.
• Coordinate quality assurance, testing, release planning and resolution of delivery issues.
• Lead content-heavy projects, including website rebuilds, content migration and stakeholder approvals.
• Support and develop other project managers through coaching, feedback and knowledge sharing.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience managing complex digital projects from discovery through to delivery and launch.
• Experience delivering multi-workstream projects involving websites, digital platforms, eCommerce or system integrations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to lead client conversations and manage expectations at a senior level.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, resource planning and change control.
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, dependencies and delivery planning.
• Confidence working alongside technical teams and translating technical requirements into clear delivery plans.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive approach to delivery, with the ability to identify potential issues early and drive projects forward under pressure.

Desirable:

• Previous experience working within a digital agency, technology consultancy or software development environment.
• Experience delivering integration-heavy platforms, logged-in user journeys, eCommerce and payment functionality.
• Exposure to content-rich website rebuilds, CMS platforms and content migration.
• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Previous line management, coaching or mentoring experience.
• Experience managing larger-scale projects
