Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (Negotiable DOE)
West Yorkshire - Hybrid Working Available

Butler Rose North Practice is supporting a well-established and growing accountancy practice in West Yorkshire with the recruitment of a Senior Account Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to join a client-focused firm where they can take ownership of a diverse portfolio, lead and develop a team, and play an important role in the firms continued success.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
Review statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive accounting, tax, and business advice.
Lead client meetings and identify opportunities to add value.
Manage workflow, deadlines, and service delivery across your portfolio.
Mentor and support junior accountants, providing technical guidance and coaching.
Assist clients with cloud accounting software including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Dext.
Support practice growth through exceptional client service and business development activities.

Personal Requirements:
ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA qualified.
Minimum of 5 years experience within a UK accountancy practice.
Strong experience managing client portfolios.
Knowledge of accounts preparation, corporation tax, and personal tax compliance.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Previous experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members.
Cloud accounting experience would be advantageous.
