Join a growing business where you'll influence organisational change, integration projects and people strategy across the UK and Ireland.

Client Details

Our client is a successful, multi-site organisation operating across the UK and Ireland with a workforce of approximately 700 employees and annual revenues exceeding £200m. Having experienced significant growth through acquisitions in recent years, the business is now focused on integration, alignment and continued expansion.

With operations spanning multiple brands and locations, this is an exciting opportunity to join a commercially focused HR team during a period of transformation. The organisation is investing heavily in its people function, systems and management capability, creating a genuine opportunity to shape the future direction of HR across the business.

Description

Reporting into the senior HR leadership team, you'll partner operational leaders across the UK and Ireland, providing pragmatic, commercially focused people support in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

This is a true generalist HR Business Partner role, balancing hands-on operational delivery with strategic and project-based work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning employee relations activity across your business areas, managing a broad range of cases from end to end.
  • Supporting managers with disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, conduct, absence and other employee relations matters.
  • Leading and supporting organisational change initiatives, restructures, consultations, acquisitions and TUPE activity.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing coaching, challenge and expert HR guidance.
  • Supporting workforce planning, talent development and manager capability programmes.
  • Driving HR projects including policy reviews, people system implementation, performance frameworks, engagement initiatives and process improvements.
  • Using people data and insight to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Contributing to the ongoing integration and alignment of UK and Ireland operations.

Profile

We're looking for an HR professional who enjoys operating in a changing environment and wants to help build and shape an evolving HR function.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience managing employee relations casework independently.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience in a generalist HR Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager capacity.
  • Exposure to organisational change, restructures, TUPE, acquisitions or transformation projects.
  • A commercially minded and operationally focused approach.
  • Excellent coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • The confidence to influence and challenge managers constructively.
  • A desire to broaden beyond traditional ER work and get involved in business projects and strategic initiatives.
  • A willingness to travel regularly across locations in the UK and Ireland.
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous.

Job Offer

  • £40,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Hybrid working
  • Multi-site role with travel across the UK and Ireland
  • Opportunity to join a business undergoing significant growth and transformation
  • Exposure to high-profile projects including integration, HR systems implementation, organisational change and leadership development
  • Supportive and collaborative HR team with genuine scope to make an impact
