As a Clerk Of Works operating in the using space across Yorkshire, you will oversee property works checking that activity is completed to the required standard. You will help keep projects on track by monitoring site progress and reporting clear, practical updates.

Description

• Inspect property works on site and check that work meets agreed specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against planned work schedules and identify issues that may affect delivery.
• Record site observations clearly, providing accurate updates on completed and outstanding work.
• Review workmanship and materials used, raising concerns where work does not meet requirements.
• Attend site visits and maintain clear records of inspections, actions and follow-up items.
• Work with relevant contacts to resolve site issues and help maintain steady project progress.
• Check that remedial works have been completed to the required standard before sign-off.

Profile

A successful 'Clerk Of Works' should have:

• Experience inspecting property works and assessing the quality of workmanship across kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and externals.
• Knowledge of site inspection methods and the ability to identify defects or incomplete work.
• Ability to read and work from project specifications and work schedules.
• Clear written skills for producing inspection notes and site reports.
• Confidence raising quality concerns and following actions through to completion.
• Ability to organise site visits and maintain accurate inspection records.

Job Offer
