Primary KS2 Teacher - #2171731

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of mainstream primary schools based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher to support pupils across Key Stage 2 / KS2. The schools are focused on delivering the primary curriculum and helping pupils develop the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to succeed in their learning.

The schools are looking to take on an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for day-to-day or long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging KS2 lessons, providing targeted SATs preparation and intervention support, and helping pupils develop their skills in reading, writing and Maths.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2

• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs assessment requirements

• Experience supporting pupils with SATs preparation and targeted interventions

• Excellent classroom management skills

• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
