Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Contract: Full time, permanent, hybrid

An established law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor to join its team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with around 3-5 years' PQE to develop their expertise within employment law, working as part of a supportive team with access to a varied caseload of matters.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their own files, advise clients on a range of employment law issues and contribute to the continued development of the department.

• 
  Managing a varied caseload of employment law matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
• 
  Advising individuals and businesses on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
• 
  Drafting employment contracts, settlement agreements, policies and other relevant documentation.
• 
  Handling matters involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• 
  Representing clients in negotiations and, where appropriate, Employment Tribunal proceedings.
• 
  Building and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, practical and commercially focused advice.
• 
  Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high standard of client service.

• 
  A qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with ideally 3-5 years' PQE in employment law.
• 
  Experience handling a varied employment law caseload and advising clients on relevant legislation and procedures.
• 
  Confident managing files independently while knowing when to seek guidance on more complex matters.
• 
  Strong communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
• 
  A client-focused approach, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• 
  A proactive and organised approach, with a genuine interest in developing your career within employment law.
