Java Developer | Contract | £350/day inside IR35

Strong Java and Spring Boot experience? Comfortable working with Kafka, MongoDB and test-driven development?

I’m recruiting a Java Developer for a public-sector assignment.

The details

• Rate: £350 per day, inside IR35

• Start: ASAP

• Location: UK client locations, excluding London

• Hybrid working: 60% onsite target, potentially negotiable. Monthly travel is also referenced; the attendance arrangement needs confirming

• Clearance: Active SC preferred, or strong confidence of eligibility

Essential experience

• Java and Spring Boot

• Kafka and MongoDB

• Unit testing and TDD

• Gherkin-style BDD, ideally using Cucumber

• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or GitHub

• Basic understanding of Docker images and containers

Useful extras

AWS services such as SQS, S3, SNS or KMS; GitLab CI/CD; Gatling or k6; Kubernetes or ECS; and Scrum/Kanban experience.
