Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)

Salary: Up to £72,000 + package

NOTE: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible to obtain DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance.

We're supporting a major national security programme that requires an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to help build, support and optimise critical cloud platforms. This is an opportunity to work on highly impactful technology within a secure environment, helping to deliver resilient services that underpin important national missions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting and improving the reliability, availability and performance of critical platforms
• Automating operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency
• Building and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and application issues
• Working closely with engineering teams to improve system resilience, scalability and observability
• Driving DevOps and SRE best practices across the wider engineering function
• Supporting containerised and microservices-based environments

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' commercial experience in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering role
• Strong hands-on AWS experience
• Excellent Linux administration and scripting skills
• Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management
• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting across the technology stack
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams
