Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - #2177950

Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Leeds.

Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000 – £49,000 DOE
Shifts: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights
Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machinery.

• Maintain and troubleshoot injection moulding machines and associated equipment.

• Work to minimise downtime and improve machinery reliability.

• Carry out fault finding on motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Support continuous improvement projects across the engineering department.

• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.

• Experience maintaining injection moulding machinery is essential.

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

• Relevant engineering qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC fault finding would be advantageous.

• Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.
