Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £38k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued company growth, our client is recruiting for a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor to join their outfit. You will predominantly be travelling across Yorkshire, to conduct thorough risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems. Our client is a national player within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry, who are known for investing in their staff and providing excellent upskilling opportunities. Applicants must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessments and will be able to hit the ground running. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: overtime earning and company vehicle.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
• Must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessments
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Adaptable to client travel requirements
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Proficient in using IT software to complete reports

The Role:

• Carrying out legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Highlighting any compliance issues and making recommendations for remedial works
• Producing detailed schematic drawings
• Collating findings to create site-specific technical reports
• Advising clients regarding on-site findings
• Working to agreed deadlines
• Training new risk assessors and providing ongoing support
• Maintaining positive working relationships with clients
