Technical Coordinator - #2179019

Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator

Leeds

Up to £60,000 + £6,000 car allowance + bonus

I’m working with a well-established national housebuilder that’s adding a third coordinator to its pre-construction team in Leeds. It’s a new role, getting involved on sites before they’re bought and staying with them through planning.

The role

• Site visits, technical due diligence and appraisals, picking up constraints like ground conditions, drainage and access
• Challenging consultants and feeding constraints to the estimators so they’re priced into bids
• Supporting a couple of bids a month, then taking around two won sites through planning
• Working alongside an urban designer who leads on layouts
• Office based in Leeds

About you

• Strong technical understanding. Not necessarily an engineer, but confident questioning a consultant’s report
• Good planning knowledge, ideally having seen sites through from early stage to consent
• Experience as technical coordinator or have engineering or architectural background
• Full driving license

The package

• Up to £60,000
• £6,000 car allowance or company car
• Discretionary bonus
• A manager who genuinely trains people up. Her last hire was running projects alone within six months

Interviews are starting now.
