Start date: Immediate
Duration: Approximately 4-8 weeks
Pay rate: £17.90 per hour plus holiday pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

The Opportunity

We're looking for a detail-oriented HR Administrator to support a time-sensitive Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) project. This role would suit someone with experience in HR administration, auditing, compliance or confidential document review who is confident handling sensitive information and identifying potential risks.

You'll review information retrieved through Mimecast, manually checking emails, folders and documents to identify relevant information and prepare records for redaction and further review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review emails, folders and documents retrieved through Mimecast in response to DSARs.

  • Manually examine records to identify information relevant to each request.

  • Upload or transfer documents into the designated review system.

  • Identify and redact confidential or sensitive information in line with project guidelines.

  • Review email correspondence, highlighting information requiring redaction or further investigation.

  • Flag potential risks and document the rationale for each decision.

  • Apply an understanding of HR processes to identify sensitive employee information and potential risks.

  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring all reviews are completed consistently and confidentially.

About You

  • Previous experience in HR administration, auditing, compliance, records management or document review.

  • An understanding of HR processes and confidential employee information.

  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to review large volumes of information accurately.

  • Confidence identifying sensitive data, potential risks and information requiring escalation.

  • Strong written communication skills, particularly when documenting findings and explaining decisions.

  • A professional and discreet approach to handling highly confidential information.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience completing Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).

  • Knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Experience using redaction or eDiscovery tools.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong HR administration or auditing experience who enjoys detailed, process-driven work and can quickly identify sensitive information and potential risks.
