Overview

At Treanor Pujol we are fully focused on supplying high-quality products to the construction market whilst establishing and maintaining an excellent level of customer service. With production facilities in Leeds, and Wick (Bristol), and a highly experienced team, we are well placed and well served to deliver all our customers precast flooring requirements.

As a result of our continued success and growth with our prestressed business and our new EPS factory starting out production later on this year, we are seeking an experienced SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) and ISO Manager to lead our organisation’s compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining SHEQ policies and ISO standards to ensure a safe, environmentally responsible, and high-quality operational environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to influence organisational culture and uphold industry best practices across our sites in Leeds and Bristol.

Duties

• Develop, implement, and monitor SHEQ management systems aligned with relevant ISO standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality standards.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations following incidents or non-conformities to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on SHEQ performance metrics, audit findings, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures including first aid protocols; organise training sessions for staff on safety practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of SHEQ activities, reports, and compliance records.
• Facilitate ongoing staff training programmes to promote safety awareness and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organisation.
• Liaise with external auditors during ISO certification audits and ensure continuous compliance with certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SHEQ management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• NEBOSH qualified or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards relevant to the organisation’s operations (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• ISO audit trained advantageous.
• Demonstrable expertise in report writing, data analysis, and presentation of findings to diverse audiences.
• Certification or training in first aid is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques to effectively resolve safety or quality issues.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence organisational culture positively.
