Technical Business Analyst | Financial Services Transformation

Work on a complex financial services transformation, defining target-state processes, system integrations and data flows across investments, banking and critical operational platforms.

Contract: 6 months

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK

Working pattern: Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office

The Project

You will support a major financial services transformation, working across business operations, technology teams and third-party suppliers. Your focus will be translating complex cross-platform challenges into clear, buildable and testable requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and technology problems to define end-to-end target-state solutions.

- Define system interactions, integration points, data flows and dependencies across platforms.

- Map asset lifecycle and reference-data processes across internal systems and third-party providers.

- Define banking, money movement, foreign-exchange and reconciliation processes.

- Analyse batch processing, failure scenarios, exception management and manual interventions.

- Establish operational controls and ensure data synchronisation across connected platforms.

Technical Skills

Essential:

- Technical business analysis across business processes and technology.

- Financial services experience, ideally in investments, wealth management or stockbroking.

- Complex system integrations, data flows and operational processes.

- Large-scale transformation delivery and cross-platform dependency management.

- Experience working with technology teams, business operations and third-party suppliers.

Desirable:

- Asset lifecycle, reference data and platform synchronisation.

- Banking, cash management, foreign exchange and reconciliation.

- Batch processing, failure handling and operational exception management.
