Senior Finance Projects / FP&A Manager - #2180171

Leeds City Centre | 3 days office-based | Day Rate | 6-9-month ongoing contractWe're recruiting for an experienced qualified senior FP&A professional to join a complex financial services organisation on an interim basis. This is a project-led finance role with a strong FP&A focus, you'll work closely with senior finance leaders and wider stakeholders to drive delivery across several high-profile initiatives, bringing structure, pace and strong relationship management to multiple work streams.The assignmentYou'll take a lead role in:

• Supporting the implementation of a new finance platform, ensuring FP&A, planning and forecasting requirements are effectively integrated.
• Driving improvements across FP&A systems, processes, data flows, forecasting and reporting.
• Reviewing opportunities for automation and AI to improve insight, productivity and reporting.
• Supporting delivery of the Annual Report & Accounts against an accelerated timetable, coordinating inputs and reviews across multiple stakeholders.
• Bringing best practice to forecasting, scenario modelling, performance analysis and longer-term planning.
• Building strong relationships across Finance and the wider organisation, influencing senior stakeholders and constructively challenging assumptions.
• Ensuring improvements are embedded through knowledge sharing and capability transfer.

What we're looking forYou'll be a qualified accountant with strong post-qualified experience and an established track record of delivering financial projects within complex organisations.You'll ideally bring:

• Excellent project management and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach.
• Strong FP&A, forecasting and financial modelling expertise.
• Previous experience of corporate reporting and Annual Report & Accounts.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling capability.
• The confidence to engage, influence and challenge senior finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience of systems, process improvement, automation or AI.
• Financial services experience is preferred but not essential.

This would suit a senior finance professional who enjoys getting into the detail while also being able to bring people together, drive projects forward and deliver tangible improvements.
