We’re hiring a Project Engineer to join a busy on-site engineering function delivering a steady pipeline of improvement and investment work. This Project Engineer role sits close to operations, so you’ll see your work land in the real world. Project Engineer - What you’ll be doing (key responsibilities) - Fabrication, Welding, Precision Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineer, Solidworks, CAD

• Own end-to-end delivery of multiple engineering workstreams, from scope and feasibility through commissioning and handover (true cradle-to-grave CAPEX projects).
• Translate operational pain points into clear scopes, plans, costings and timelines—then deliver against them with disciplined project management.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and internal teams (Ops, Engineering, Quality, H&S) using proactive stakeholder management and crisp communication.
• Lead site activity planning: method statements, risk assessments, installation readiness, and safe execution during shutdowns or live environments.
• Track progress, manage risks/issues, and keep documentation tight so projects land compliantly and sustainably.

Project Engineer - What we’re looking for (skills & experience) - Fabrication, Welding, Precision Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineer, Solidworks, CAD

• Proven experience delivering CAPEX projects / engineering change in a manufacturing, industrial, or asset-heavy environment.
• Strong stakeholder management—you can influence without authority and keep multiple teams aligned.
• Solid project management fundamentals (scope, budget, schedule, risk, change control), with the confidence to challenge assumptions.
• Practical engineering mindset: comfortable on-site, close to equipment/processes, and happy coordinating contractors and suppliers.
• Clear written documentation skills (plans, reports, handover packs) and a safety-first approach in everything you do.
