D1/D2 FLT Reach Truck Driver – Leeds

People Solutions are currently recruiting for D1/D2 FLT Reach Truck Drivers to join our well-established client based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £14.43 per hour, overtime rates up to £28.86 per hour, part-time weekend or full-time rotating shifts, weekly pay, ongoing work and immediate starts.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an FLT Reach Truck Driver, D1 Reach Truck Driver, D2 Reach Truck Driver, Forklift Reach Driver or Warehouse FLT Driver.

Shifts

Part-Time – Weekend Shifts

• Saturday and Sunday
• 07:00 – 17:00

Full-Time – Rotating Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts: 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00

Rates of Pay

• £14.43 per hour – standard rate
• Overtime rates up to £28.86 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a D1/D2 FLT Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include:

• Operating D1/D2 Reach Trucks safely and efficiently
• Transporting goods and pallets around the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles and containers
• Moving and storing stock in designated warehouse locations
• Receiving, unpacking and checking incoming deliveries
• Picking, organising and preparing stock for dispatch
• Stacking, wrapping and securing pallets
• Checking stock quantities and reporting discrepancies
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Reporting damaged equipment, racking or safety concerns
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Completing additional warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills

To be successful as a D1/D2 FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will need:

• Valid D1/D2 Reach Truck Licence
• Minimum 12 months' Reach Truck operating experience
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Desirable Experience

• Previous warehouse or assembly environment experience

Training Provided

• Site-specific training provided
• Reach Truck assessment required before starting
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
