Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy - #2182942

A growing construction consultancy in Leeds is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across Yorkshire. The Senior Project Manager will work across technically complex schemes, including bridge and wider infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with strong NEC expertise who wants to take ownership of projects and work closely with senior clients.

The successful Senior Project Manager will lead projects independently, manage client relationships and oversee contract administration across NEC3 and NEC4 contracts. The Senior Project Manager will take responsibility for programme, risk and delivery, while the Senior Project Manager will also manage compensation events, early warnings and contractual processes across ECC and PSC appointments.

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Responsibilities will include managing project programmes, leading client and consultant meetings, administering NEC contracts, overseeing project risk and reporting, and managing contractual matters including compensation events and early warnings.

The Senior Project Manager will also support junior team members and help maintain strong delivery standards across the wider project portfolio.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong Project Management experience within a construction consultancy

• Proven experience delivering civil engineering, infrastructure or bridge projects

• Strong knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts

• Extensive practical experience with ECC and PSC contracts

• Experience managing compensation events, early warnings and contract administration

• A degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline

• Strong senior client-facing and stakeholder management skills

• APM, MRICS, MICE, ChPP or another relevant professional qualification, or progress towards chartership

• £55,000 - £62,000
