Leeds | £45,000 – £65,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus | Hybrid Working

We are working with an ambitious and growing insurance broker in Leeds as they look to appoint a Commercial Account Executive to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is hungry to succeed, keen to develop their technical knowledge and wants to build a successful long-term career within commercial insurance broking.

You'll inherit an established portfolio generating approximately £100,000 in income, providing a solid foundation from day one, alongside the opportunity to develop your own client base.

Importantly, you won't be expected to generate every opportunity yourself. You'll benefit from leads and referrals from colleagues, together with the support and resources to help you develop new business and grow your portfolio.

One of the biggest attractions is the investment the business makes in developing its people.

The recruiting manager is a great example, having progressed from Account Handler to Account Executive and subsequently Account Director, achieving two promotions over the past five years.

With ambitious growth plans in place, the business is looking for someone who shares that drive and wants to develop alongside them.

You'll be joining a supportive team where you'll have access to experienced colleagues, technical expertise and opportunities to continue developing your skills.

• Manage and develop an existing commercial portfolio generating c.£100k in income
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Identify opportunities to grow the existing portfolio
• Develop new business through referrals, supplied leads and your own networking activities
• Work towards an achievable new business income target of approximately £30k
• Collaborate with Account Handlers, broking and wider support teams
• Continue developing your technical knowledge and commercial insurance expertise

We're keen to speak with individuals who have experience within commercial insurance broking and the ambition to develop further.

You may already be working as an Account Executive or perhaps be an experienced Account Handler looking to take the next step into a client-facing, business development role.

More importantly, you'll be someone who:

• Enjoys building relationships and developing new business
• Has a good understanding of commercial insurance products
• Is motivated, ambitious and keen to progress
• Wants to develop their technical knowledge and client portfolio

• £45,000 – £65,000 salary, depending on experience
• Car allowance
• 20% new business bonus on commission generated
