We are currently recruiting for a Complaints Officer to join a busy organisation on a temporary to permanent basis. This role will be responsible for investigating customer complaints, ensuring issues are resolved fairly and efficiently, and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing customer complaints from receipt through to resolution
• Investigating cases and gathering relevant information
• Drafting detailed written responses and outcome letters
• Liaising with internal departments to resolve issues effectively
• Maintaining accurate records and case files
• Ensuring complaints are handled within agreed service levels
• Supporting Subject Access Requests (SARs) and data protection enquiries where required
• Identifying trends and recommending process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in complaints handling, customer resolutions, customer relations, or case management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong investigation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage sensitive or complex cases professionally
• Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of GDPR or data protection processes would be advantageous
