Head of Finance - Leeds - Retail/Ecommerce Hybrid - #2184738

I’m exclusively recruiting for a Head of Finance to join a high-growth, instantly recognisable UK brand with a global presence!

Working right alongside the Finance Director, you’ll own everything from management accounts, cashflow forecasting and budgeting to commercial analysis, VAT, year-end audit and balance sheet management.

You’ll also lead one direct report and help shape a finance function that’s scaling fast.

The business are looking for a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Finance Manager/Controller with experience in a fast-paced SME with a hands-on, problem-solving approach and confidence working with stakeholders across the business.

This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment offering true commercial exposure within a highly visible role!

You will have scope to influence and improve processes within a friendly, relaxed culture, with no corporate stuffiness.

The key duties of the role will include:

• Monthly management accounts
• Bimonthly P&L Flash reporting
• Weekly cashflow forecasting
• Balance Sheet management (cash/accruals/prepayments)
• Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Coordination of the year end audit
• Liaison with outsourced payroll partner
• Robust control environment
• Building and issuing reports for commercial stakeholders
• Ad hoc analysis
• Overseeing of 1 direct report
