Are you an established Investment or Financial Planning professional operating at Director level and considering your next career move?

An internationally recognised wealth management organisation is continuing to invest in its UK business, with an ambitious vision to become one of the most trusted names in world-class wealth management.

With an enhanced product offering, significant investment in technology and a renewed focus on developing its client-facing teams, this is an exciting time to join a business with a clear growth strategy and the ambition to evolve its client proposition.

The organisation provides a comprehensive wealth management service to a diverse private client base, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, inheritors and charities. Its proposition extends beyond traditional investment management, incorporating financial planning, lending, banking and trust services.

As a Wealth Manager, you will take responsibility for managing and developing an established client portfolio, driving new business opportunities and contributing to the wider strategic and commercial objectives of the team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Wealth Manager to combine their own client relationships and business development capabilities with a senior leadership position, supporting the development and performance of colleagues.

The Role

As a senior member of the Wealth Management team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing an established portfolio of private clients, strengthening existing relationships and identifying opportunities to generate additional business.
  • Driving new business activity, taking ownership of individual targets and contributing to the wider team's revenue and net asset growth objectives.
  • Building trusted relationships through a thorough understanding of clients' financial circumstances, personal objectives and long-term ambitions.
  • Delivering a comprehensive wealth management proposition, identifying opportunities across investment management, financial planning, lending, banking and trust services.
  • Working collaboratively with specialist colleagues to ensure clients benefit from the full breadth of expertise available across the organisation.
  • Taking a proactive approach to business development, utilising professional networks, introducer relationships and personal connections to identify new opportunities.
  • Providing leadership, coaching and mentorship to colleagues, supporting their professional development and overall performance.
  • Taking responsibility for performance management, including setting objectives, conducting reviews and supporting individual development plans.
  • Championing digital adoption and new ways of working to enhance the overall client experience and improve efficiency.

About You

We are interested in speaking with established Wealth Management professionals who combine strong commercial instincts with the ability to build lasting client relationships and lead others.

You will ideally bring:

  • Significant experience within a private client or wealth management environment, operating at a senior Wealth Manager, Director or equivalent level.
  • Level 6 qualification through CISI or CII. Candidates holding Level 4 qualifications may also be considered where supported by extensive relevant experience.
  • A demonstrable track record of managing client relationships, retaining assets and generating new business.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an in-depth understanding of financial markets, investment products and the wider wealth management landscape.
  • The ability to understand complex client requirements and articulate appropriate wealth management solutions.
  • Experience of leading, mentoring or developing colleagues, with the confidence to influence positive behaviours and performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the credibility to build trust with high-net-worth clients and professional introducers.
  • A collaborative mindset, recognising the value of working alongside specialists to deliver the best possible client outcomes.

The Proposition

Joining at this stage of the organisation's growth presents an opportunity to become part of an ambitious business that is investing in its people, technology and client proposition.

The wider package includes:

  • Competitive basic salary and performance-related bonus.
  • Comprehensive flexible benefits package.
  • A collaborative, high-performing environment with access to some of the industry's leading professionals.
  • Ongoing leadership development, coaching and professional training.
