We're recruiting an Accounts Payable Manager for a business where you'll have complete ownership of the purchase ledger, the freedom to improve how things are done, and the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days managing people or sitting in meetings talking about processes. You'll be the person making things happen.

You'll take responsibility for a busy purchase ledger, managing everything from purchase orders and supplier queries through to payment runs, reconciliations and month-end support.

You'll also work closely with budget holders to iron out PO discrepancies, keep supplier relationships running smoothly and make sure payments go out accurately and on time.

And here's where things get interesting.

You'll have the opportunity to look at how the Accounts Payable function operates and make improvements. Whether that's tightening controls, making processes more efficient or finding opportunities for automation, you'll have the freedom to put your ideas into practice.

What you'll need:

You'll already have experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or in a senior purchase ledger role, with a solid understanding of high-volume invoice processing, purchase orders and payment runs.

You'll be comfortable working independently, confident dealing with people across the business and organised enough to keep multiple plates spinning.
