Sales Ledger - #2185234

An established and growing organisation is looking for an experienced Billings & Sales Ledger professional to join its finance team in East Leeds.

This is a varied role within a busy environment, offering the opportunity to take ownership of billing activities, maintain accurate customer accounts and work closely with internal teams to ensure invoices are raised correctly and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end billing process across multiple accounts.
• Raise and process sales invoices accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Maintain the sales ledger and ensure customer accounts are up to date.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and invoice queries.
• Reconcile customer accounts and monitor outstanding balances.
• Liaise with internal departments and external customers to resolve queries.
• Support month-end processes and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and accuracy.

About you

• Previous experience in Billings, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident working with high volumes of invoices and transactions.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working to deadlines.
• Strong Excel and systems skills.

Salary: up to £34,000, 25 days holiday, based on-site
