Interim Group Accountant - #2186176

I'm currently supporting a large international organisation in the appointment of an Interim Group Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This opportunity would suit a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with proven experience in group reporting and consolidations who is available to commence at short notice.

Working as part of the central finance function, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely group reporting across a complex, multi-entity and multi-currency environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of monthly and quarterly group consolidations, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Consolidate financial information from international subsidiaries and ensure accurate group reporting.
• Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Analyse and explain movements in financial results, providing insight to senior stakeholders.
• Prepare audit support schedules and act as a key contact for external auditors.
• Ensure appropriate financial controls are maintained across the group reporting process.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and drive efficiencies across month-end close activities.

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Previous experience within a group reporting or group accounting role.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Comfortable working within a complex, multi-entity environment and managing competing deadlines.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.
