Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £42k + Training & Benefits

A leading name within the Asbestos industry is recruiting for experienced staff in the Yorkshire region. They have recently won new work in the region, and require a qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant, who has a wealth of industry experience and knowledge. It is essential that you have proven experience of working across domestic and local authority premises, to conduct all asbestos survey types. You will be expected to work self-sufficiently on site, and show flexibility to travel in line with company and client requirements. Our client is offering attractive basic salaries and packages, including the use of a company vehicle.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant
• Will have worked for a UKAS accredited consultancy
• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Adaptable to client travel requirements
• Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 264 guidelines
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

• Attending client sites to perform thorough management, demolition and refurbishment asbestos surveys
• Ad-hoc re-inspection surveys
• Safely collecting ACM samples from site
• Delivering samples to the laboratory
• Collating findings to produce thorough technical reports
• Creating floor plans / schematic drawings
• Contacting clients to deliver tailored technical feedback and support
• Supporting training Asbestos Surveyors
• Working to agreed personal targets and deadlines
