We're partnering with a growing SaaS and Professional Services organisation looking to appoint a PMO lead develop a Portfolio Management Office that sits at the heart of delivery performance, resource planning, governance and commercial success.
This is not a role where you'll inherit a mature PMO and simply maintain it.
We're looking for someone who understands what good looks like and is willing to roll their sleeves up to help the business get there.
You'll lead a team of five, working closely with Delivery, Professional Services, Finance and Commercial stakeholders to improve governance adoption, portfolio visibility, utilisation reporting, forecasting and decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching and developing a PMO team
- Improving portfolio governance, controls and reporting
- Increasing visibility of delivery performance, risks and dependencies
- Driving resource planning, forecasting and utilisation reporting
- Supporting executive-level portfolio decision making
- Embedding best practice across project and programme delivery
- Challenging stakeholders constructively and driving accountability
- Supporting wider PMO maturity and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- PMO leadership experience within a SaaS, Software, Technology Services or Professional Services environment
- Experience building, scaling or maturing PMO functions
- Strong portfolio governance and project controls background
- Resource planning, capacity management and forecasting experience
- Proven people leadership and coaching capability
- Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach rather than a purely strategic style
