You’ll play an important part in supporting the day-to-day delivery of our marketing activity, helping to create engaging content, manage campaigns and ensure our marketing materials remain consistent and on-brand.

You’ll also take ownership of our AI-assisted design tools, using platforms to create and adapt a variety of marketing assets. Alongside this, you’ll work closely with colleagues across Marketing, People and New Business, providing support where needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As our Marketing & Design Assistant, you’ll support the wider Marketing function and take responsibility for a variety of activities, including:

Design and Content Creation

  • Manage and use our AI design software to create a range of marketing materials, including social media graphics, email assets, presentations, flyers and other promotional content.
  • Adapt and amend AI-generated designs to ensure they meet our brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Resize and repurpose existing content for different platforms and marketing channels.
  • Support the creation of People-related graphics, recruitment materials and careers content.

Social Media and Digital Marketing

  • Take ownership of social media planning and scheduling across our channels.
  • Create engaging social media content to support campaigns, product launches and wider business activity.
  • Monitor social media performance, producing regular reports and identifying opportunities to improve engagement.
  • Support website updates and ensure content remains accurate, relevant and up to date.

Email Marketing and Campaigns

  • Support the planning, creation and delivery of email marketing campaigns.
  • Build and manage email campaigns, ensuring content, design and messaging are consistent.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and identify opportunities to improve future activity.
  • Support the delivery of lead generation campaigns and customer communications.

Research and General Marketing Support

  • Conduct regular market and competitor research across the full marketing mix.
  • Keep up to date with marketing trends, tools and best practices, making recommendations where appropriate.
  • Support the team with copywriting, proofreading and editing marketing collateral.

Wider Business Support

  • Provide holiday cover for the New Business and Design team when required
  • Provide additional support across the business as and when required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A reasonable working knowledge of social media platforms and an understanding of how different channels work.
  • Experience using Canva and AI design tools would be beneficial.
  • Some practical experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with the ability to make basic graphic edits, amend existing collateral and work with existing Adobe files. This will be particularly important for product imagery, installation photos and other designs where AI tools aren't suitable.
  • An understanding of digital marketing, email campaigns and website content.
  • Experience using WordPress or similar content management systems (CMS), including making basic website updates.
  • The ability to work independently, use initiative and bring new ideas to the team.

What You’ll Get From Us:

When you join InVentry, you’ll become part of a supportive, forward-thinking team where collaboration, development and continuous improvement matter. We’ll support you with:
