We’re hiring a Business Analyst Consultant for a large-scale public sector digital transformation programme. You won’t just be writing requirements from a desk. You’ll spend real time with frontline teams, seeing how services work on the ground, and turn that into change that sticks.

The role at a glance

Rate: up to £300/day, inside IR35

Location: hybrid, based in Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham

On the ground: about 40% of your week visiting frontline service sites

Clearance: BPSS

What you’ll do

Work with frontline staff and stakeholders to understand how services really run

Turn user and business needs into clear requirements, process maps and user stories

Help the delivery side by managing priorities, risks and dependencies, and keeping the team moving

Work in agile teams to deliver change step by step that users can feel

What you’ll bring

Experience on complex, large-scale digital transformation programmes (essential)

Strong core BA skills: requirements, process mapping (As-Is / To-Be) and stakeholder engagement

Delivery Management experience, or a BA who naturally takes ownership of delivery

Solid agile experience: backlogs, ceremonies and iterative delivery

Confidence in front of both senior stakeholders and frontline teams
