Job Title: Senior Systems Analyst (Dayforce)

Salary: Up to £65,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Leeds – Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days home)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to take ownership of an organisation’s HR and Payroll systems, driving system optimisation, continuous improvement and digital transformation.

You’ll play a key role in developing the HR technology strategy, maximising system capability and ensuring data integrity across the People function. Working closely with senior stakeholders and external providers, you’ll lead system development, reporting and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, governance and optimisation of HR and Payroll systems.
• Own the HRIS roadmap, aligning system improvements with business objectives.
• Drive automation, digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Oversee system upgrades, testing, patches and change control.
• Develop reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
• Manage relationships with HRIS providers and identify opportunities to enhance system capability.
• Ensure data quality, GDPR compliance and system security.
• Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on system functionality and best practice.

About You

• Significant experience managing HR and Payroll systems within a large or complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of HRIS platforms and payroll processes.
• Experience with SAP HCM or an equivalent enterprise HR system.
• Knowledge of SQL, XML and advanced Excel.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical system solutions.
• Experience managing system enhancements, upgrades and improvement projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
• Previous team leadership or management experience.

Desirable:

• Dayforce experience.
• Continuous improvement project experience.
• System testing and release management experience.
