Internal Audit Manager - #2188311

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver a risk-based internal audit programme, ensuring audits are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Develop and execute audit plans, assessing key business risks, processes and control environments.
• Manage the end-to-end audit lifecycle, from planning and fieldwork through to reporting and follow-up.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes and corporate governance arrangements.
• Produce clear, concise audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
• Provide constructive challenge and practical recommendations to improve business processes and strengthen controls.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations, ensuring agreed actions are completed effectively.
• Identify emerging risks and provide insight into areas requiring additional assurance.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of the internal audit function.

Candidate Profile

We are looking to speak with experienced internal audit professionals who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience working within an internal audit function, ideally at Manager or Senior Auditor level.
• Strong experience delivering risk-based internal audits across a range of business areas.
• A good understanding of internal controls, risk management and corporate governance.
• The ability to manage multiple audits and competing priorities effectively.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and challenge senior management.
