Are you a hard FM commercial leader who would rather build a sales engine than maintain one?

I'm partnering with a technically strong hard FM business, part of a well-backed Group, to appoint a Sales Director based in Leeds. The business delivers M&E maintenance, technical and compliance-led services and lifecycle work, and does it well.

The next step is turning that technical strength into a commercial strategy that wins competitively.

The role

• Shape and own the commercial and sales strategy, and make sure the team genuinely adopts it
• Lead tenders and bids end to end: pricing strategy, differentiation and bid governance
• Sharpen the business's positioning in the hard FM market
• Build the sales operating rhythm: CRM discipline, pipeline and forecasting
• Coach and develop a team that is more technical than commercial today

What you'll bring

• Genuine hard FM sector experience (M&E, technical and compliance-led services; you know TFM vs hard FM vs bundled)
• A track record of turning strategy into an adopted sales plan and leading commercial change, with clear evidence of what you built
• Experience leading and winning competitive hard FM tenders
