The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join a project team on a restaurant fit-out project based in Leeds.This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Site Manager with a strong background in commercial electrical installations, hospitality fit-outs and fast-paced refurbishment projects.The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing all electrical site activities, managing installation teams and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme.We are keen to speak with experienced Electrical Site Managers who have previously delivered restaurant, bar, hotel or other commercial fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing all electrical installation activities on site.

• Supervising electricians, subcontractors and installation teams.

• Coordinating daily site activities and allocating labour.

• Ensuring electrical works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and project programmes.

• Liaising with the Project Manager, main contractor and other trades.

• Monitoring progress and ensuring installation deadlines are achieved.

• Managing health and safety requirements and ensuring site compliance.

• Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks.

• Coordinating first and second fix electrical installations.

• Overseeing testing, commissioning and snagging activities.

• Identifying and resolving technical and programme-related issues.

• Providing regular progress reports and updates to senior management.

• Ensuring all electrical works comply with current regulations and industry standards.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as an Electrical Site Manager or Senior Electrical Supervisor.

• Strong background in commercial electrical installations.

• Experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors.

• Previous restaurant, hospitality or commercial fit-out experience is highly desirable.

• Good knowledge of electrical drawings and installation specifications.

• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage site activities and deliver works to programme.

Qualifications

• SMSTS preferred.

• SSSTS considered alongside suitable experience.

• Relevant electrical qualifications.

• Current ECS/JIB card advantageous.

• First Aid advantageous.
