I'm recruiting a Group Management Accountant for an international group based in Leeds. Finance teams in each region report into a central Group Finance function, with a monthly group close through a consolidation system, quarterly forecasts, an annual budget and Board reporting.

The role

• Producing the monthly Group management accounts and turning them into something senior leadership can make decisions from.

• Working with the regional finance teams to get the numbers in on time and consistent.

• Running the quarterly forecast and pulling together the annual Group budget and Board packs.

• Supporting central treasury, mainly banking relationships and the online platforms that go with them.

• Improving the consolidation system, automation and controls wherever you see a better way.

The person

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or close to finishing.

• Management accounting or group reporting experience in a business with more than one entity.

• Solid budgeting and forecasting, and strong Excel.

• Time on a consolidation or reporting system. Any system is fine.

• Comfortable working with finance people in other countries and other departments.

Most of the job is reviewing and consolidating the numbers regional teams send in. If you'd rather run one entity's ledger day to day, this one probably isn't for you.
